For three years Myles worked with his district to require coaches to become certified through the Federation's Coach Education program.  In August, Superintendent Russell Booker announced to all high school and middle school coaches that they would be required to earn the NFHS Accredited Interscholastic Coach certification.  In addition, Dr. Booker announced that the district would be paying all expenses for this program.  Spartanburg 7 is the first district in South Carolina to require this certification.
