Awarded each year to a
superintendent who has shown outstanding leadership and support of
athletics on the local level and also in the state.
Must be nominated by a principal or athletic director.

of the Year
|
|
Awarded each year to a
principal in each classification who has shown outstanding support
in athletics at the school, region and state level.
Must be nominated by an athletic director.

|
| State
Award of Merit
(for
NIAAA Members only) |
|
The Association’s most
prestigious state award, presented to an individual in recognition
of meritorious service, leadership and special contributions to
interscholastic athletics at the local and state level.
This award is presented at the discretion of the SCAAA Board.

| Region
Athletic Director of the Year
|
|
Nominated and voted on by
the Athletic Directors and Principals in their Region.
A Certificate will be given to each recipient by the
Association.
|
|
| Classification
Athletic Director of the Year
|
|
Must be a Region Athletic
Director of the Year to be eligible for this Award.
The two members that represent a Classification on the SCAAA
Board will select this recipient.

|
State
Athletic Director of the Year
|
|
Must be a Classification
Athletic Director of the Year to be eligible for this Award.
This recipient will be selected by the SCAAA Board.

SCAAA
Distinguished Service Award
|
|
Given to a SCAAA member,
in recognition of their length of service, special accomplishments
and contributions to interscholastic athletics at the school, region
and state level. This award will be given at the discretion of the SCAAA
Board.

SCAAA
Citation of Excellence
|
|
Presented to an individual
outside the field of athletic administration in recognition of their
contributions to interscholastic athletics at the local and state
levels. Nominations are
submitted by any member of the SCAAA, screened by the Awards
Committee, and selected by the SCAAA Board.
